NEW FEATURE: Automatic Lesson Emails—Keeping Students and Parents in the Loop!

At Practice Space, we’re always looking for ways to make music learning more efficient, engaging, and seamless for both teachers and students. One of the biggest challenges teachers face is ensuring that students stay on top of their assignments between lessons. While some students consistently check the Practice Space app, others may not—leading to forgotten assignments and less effective practice.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce our latest update: Automatic Lesson Emails! 🎉 Now, teachers can send lesson notes, assignments, and attachments directly to students and parents the moment a lesson is published in the app—keeping everyone informed and making practice more consistent.

Why This Update Matters

We know that communication is key when it comes to student success. While the Practice Space app already makes it easy to organize assignments, track progress, and motivate students, not every student checks the app regularly. This can create gaps in communication and lead to missed practice opportunities.

With our new automatic lesson emails, students and parents will receive an email summary of the lesson—right in their inbox—so they never miss important notes or assignments.

How It Works

We’ve made it as simple as possible for teachers to take advantage of this new feature. Here’s how it works:

One Click to Send

When publishing a lesson, simply toggle the email setting on or off. If the toggle is green, the lesson email will be sent automatically. If it’s off, the lesson remains unpublished, and no email goes out. This gives teachers complete control over which lessons get emailed and which don’t.

✅ Everything in One Place

Students and parents can open lesson notes, assignments, and any attached files directly from the email. No need to log into the app—everything they need is right there, making it easier than ever for students to stay on track.

No Login Required

Even if students don’t regularly check the Practice Space app, they’ll still receive their lesson details via email. This helps parents stay informed and keeps students

The Impact on Your Studio

With this new feature, music teachers can:

🎵 Ensure students always have access to lesson notes and assignments

📧 Keep parents in the loop, so they can help reinforce practice at home

💡 Reduce the need for follow-up messages and reminders

🎯 Make practice more structured and effective for students

By simplifying how lesson information is shared, Practice Space is making it easier for students to stay engaged, parents to stay involved, and teachers to focus on what they do best—teaching!
